YNTCD is boring. At least the message is....decent?
I feel like she' s pandering though. Where was this same energy eras ago? Did she not want to ruffle the feathers of her red state fanbase?
I'm glad you brought this up because my original post was mostly about this subject but I deleted it because I didn't want to be negative. Also I'm not part of the community so maybe it's not my place to speak on it. Idk. I'm skeptical of her intentions though, thats why I left it as a question.
I think she's trying too hard to be seen as some lgbtq+ queen instead of just supporting naturally. It comes off as disingenuous when you consider that she was just previously criticized for being silent about a lot of issues. Suddenly she wants to be loud with equality speeches and surprise performances for Pride while wearing rainbow outfits to events. The timing is just interesting. I don't think she's being completely fake with her support, but I do feel she's using this new era and new outspoken image to give a big FU to the "haters" who accused her of being a republican and pointing out her mostly white conservative fanbase. It feels like she's throwing it in people's faces to prove a point while selling records. She's doing something positive and harmful at the same time. I think maybe she is the one who needs to calm down.

I’ll admit the tons of cameos was smart bc it def added for a wait I didn’t see them let me watch the video again algorithms.
I just did not because I like the song but bc I’m like wait where was Ciara.
So yeah. Also during the pop pageant I was confused with a few of the people and who hey we’re supposed to be. I saw Ariana, Adele, Cardi, her clearly, Beyoncé, pretty sure a Gaga but was ittbe short hairpin left side of screen? Was the far right a nicki? Some were good and obvious and others questionable.
Sometimes there's airplanes, I can't jump out. Sometimes there's bullsh!t, that don't work now. We all got out stories, but please tell me... what there's to complain about.
