Adam Lambert has heard about Robbie Williams' dream to record a duet with him and has revealed he's "down for a collaboration".
The US singer told Digital Spy at last night's Attitude Awards: "I've heard Robbie's comments, it was very sweet of him. I'm a fan of Robbie, I think he's really cool.
"I'd be down for a collaboration with Robbie Williams."
He then inquired: "You got a song for us? Are you writing it?"
Williams had enthused about Lambert's talents and looks during a recent radio interview, saying: "On the TV he's really, really beautiful, he's stunning and he's got the most amazing voice. I should sing something with him."
Effusing over the "good music coming out of the UK", the former American Idol runner-up gushed: "I'm really into the house music revival that's happening right now.
"Disclosure's incredible, Gorgon City's incredible, I love Years and Years. Jess Glynne's stuff is really cool, Clean Bandit's stuff is really cool.
"There's a lot of good music coming out of the UK at the moment. A LOT."
On American Idol coming to an end after its 15th series, he revealed he felt "indifferent" at the news, continuing: "No, I'm not sad [it's coming to an end], I'm indifferent.
"Im very grateful for the show - I owe the show my career at this point. I don't know if I'd be where I am without it. And they're good people."
Kanye West turned up for a surprise audition on the Fox show in San Francisco last weekend, with an unaware Lambert asking: "I missed that. Did he sing 'Bohemian Rhapsody'?
"I don't think I would have voted him through!"
