Following the announcement of the upcoming album “Peace Is the Mission“, Diplo also revealed that Major Lazer worked on new music with another big name: No Doubt’s vocalist Gwen Stefani. But, keep calm, they’re saving that for the forthcoming sequel to this just announced album.


In an interview with inthemix, Walshy Fire announced that their fourth studio album is called “Music Is the Weapon“, and it’s scheduled to be released later this year (November) or early 2016.

Besides, a second album isn’t the only thing planned for the full Major Lazer experience, their long animated series is “Major Lazer” is finally here, and another untitled movie soundtrack is planned to be released next year.

The first promotional single is the track “Lost” featuring MØ, which is expected to be released in late-July.

A new track with the vocals of Sia was exclusively premiered during episode 11th of Major Lazer’s season one of their animated series on June 25th.

So… we must be ready a lot of MAJOR LAZER is coming this year!

Yeah Peace is the Mission but it only had 9 tracks. This is a different album.

Tbh I would have preferred one high quality album to the subpar release we had.
