Spiritual State.... most people were not, and I even had a friend who had ABSOLUTELY no idea she was a legit R&B singer when she debuted in 2000. He honestly thought her debut single was "Get The Party Started," and album being M!ssundaztood.
Shame for all the R&B P!nk fans tho, because she really can sing R&B music well. I remember hearing that she was upset begin compared heavily to the Britney, Christina, Jessica Simpson, Many Moore's and what not. But when all of those girls debuted, they were clearly chasing Bubblegum/Teen pop. P!nk was in a lane of her own, being a white girl, singing R&B music, and being assisted by some of the industries best at the time (L.A. Reid, Kandi, Babyface, etc.).

I never listened to the whole album but I loved the singles, and fact she was the white girl singing R&B well! Like it didn't seem like a gimmick.

This song still slays! I've loved her from the first time I heard this! I've been stanning her first album lately
I only have really heard the 3 singles from her debut. Is the rest of it as good? I don't know why I've never looked into it TBH.
